I`ve had a gutful of Greens Climate Change hypocrisy as well as their bullshit CPRS which was repealed
Bob Brown did not like Kevin Rudd`s ETS
Later that year 2009 the Greens along with Liberals & Nationals & Nick Xenophon voted down Labor`s ETS bill
This was the first defeat for PM Kevin Rudd & would be the most telling, firstly for he himself as PM & more importantly for Australia.
A quick rehash of Rudds ETS is that it was based on the EU Mk2 model floated in 2005 after Mk1 failed
Being market based means floated on the stock exchange where profit is the driver & what better way to combat rising Co2 emissions than to use money as the carrot to lower emissions
The Greens could not accept or understand this in 2009 & made up heaps of shit they fed the public & supporters ever since
Extract-The EU emissions trading system (EU ETS) is a cornerstone of the EU’s policy to combat climate change and its key tool for reducing greenhouse gas emissions cost-effectively. It is the world’s first major carbon market and remains the biggest one.
Aslo here`s the latest trading data
Bandt is raising the ire of Labor & supporters to a level not seen since mid 2011
He began his newest hypocritical attack on Labor on October 31 in the SMH,then emerging from the pumpkin patch next day, after seeing the Great Pumpkin Bob Brown, I assume, he tweeted this
Now 5 hours ago Adam has the temerity to tweet this great piece of political prose
OK we see here that the Greens sole HoR MP is pumped up with Pumpkin Juice
Now Labor`s Patrick Conroy, never runs from a fight,in fact he`ll toe to toe you while looking you square in the eyes
Adding this to a tweeter
continuing to this
Now free for all
The current Labor / Greens fight is not going away anytime soon,in fact I can assure Greens & their supporters that Labor & it`s supporters are coming for you hard
The EU ETS works on the ‘cap and trade’ principle.
A cap is set on the total amount of certain greenhouse gases that can be emitted by installations covered by the system. The cap is reduced over time so that total emissions fall.
The Greens, along with their ETS ending voting mates the LNP have put Australia back almost a decade
Our renewables industry would have been massive & who really knows, maybe Kevin Rudd may have remained Prime Minister
No,not even I believe he would have, but Australia would have been far better placed that is for sure
Then Bandt comes up with this brilliant finale`of hypocrisy
